How To Be a Good English Teacher

Many people in the world use English as international language or global language. Wherever they travel, they see English signs and advertisement. Whenever they enter an abroad hotel or restaurant, they will understand English, and there will be English menu. Because of that, teaching English is very important to develop English ability of the students. It means each teacher must be able to be a good English teacher. Being a good English teacher is an interesting and exciting job in the world. Many people in the world agree that being a good English teacher is useful in everything for the students because it does not only transfer the knowledge, but also it gives the rule of life, and it is not as easy as people think. There are many things that people have to concern, such as having sufficient proficiency in English, having good attitude, and teaching with love.

There are several proficiencies in English that teacher has to have. Firstly, teacher has to consider about English speaking ability. When teacher speaks English, the accuracy of pronunciation must be focused on. Especially for teaching in elementary school, teacher must have a good pronunciation because the student of elementary school can easily and extremely remember sounds and words. If teacher gives the wrong pronunciation, the student will remember that until the student grown up. Secondly, it is about grammar. The ability of using grammar should be understood by teacher. A good English teacher can elaborate the sentences well, for making the various sentences that teacher provides to the students can understand the sentences deeply; therefore, they will not get bored. Thirdly, the writer will discuss about teacher’s reading’s skill. Teacher enables to read the materials comprehensibly, for the materials must be read and comprehended by teacher, so that the students will get the materials completely. We can conclude that there are three things in the proficiencies in English, such as speaking ability, understanding grammar, and reading skill.   

Next, teacher extremely requires some good attitude. First, formal dress is essential to have a gracious appearance. It means that teacher has to wear a tidy formal shirt, a good black slack, a formal belt, a pair of loafers, and a standard tie. Teacher also has the standard haircut and the clean tidy nails. Later, teacher should have the equitable behaviors. Those behaviors involve good, fair, wise, and honest. Those are very essential, for absolutely, teacher will have many problems in the classroom or outside the classroom; consequently, the equitable behaviors are needed to solve those problems. Then, the major thing that teacher has to concern. Sociolinguistic competence is needed making a great relationship with citizens of school. Teacher has to be aware about the environment, such as the culture, the mores, and the decorum, for every environment in this world is different; accordingly, teacher must know and follow every rule in that environment obediently. It means that teacher not only has a great relationship with the students but also the citizens of school. Based on that statements, three things that teacher has to worry, are having a gracious appearance, having the equitable behaviors, and getting sociolinguistic competence.

The last, a good point in being a good English teacher is teaching with love that has various ways to do it. First, absolutely, teachers must love their students. Teachers have to accept the weakness and the strength of the students, and teachers do not make a different treatment between one to the other students. Second, it deals with knowing all of the student characteristics. It is very useful for what handling that teachers should use to each student if one of the students has a problem. Moreover, with knowing the student characteristics, teachers will know how to love the students. Third, do not make the students nervous. Teachers have to make sure that every single student does not feel strained, for it can produce the fears as the result the materials cannot enter easily to the students, and it may make the students do not want to be taught by the same teacher. From the statements above, the concluding of the ways in teaching with love are loving your student, knowing the student characteristics, and making the student enjoy.

 Those are the small fractions of being a good English teacher that teachers have to concern. If they do not realize about those things, there will be many problems that come to the teachers, students, and citizen of school, and it will be better if teachers can improve those rules well so that they not only being a good English teacher but also a great English teacher. 

Making A New Friendship

     There are several things that you have to concern in making a new friendship. First of all, absolutely, you have to introduce your self. If you fear to do it, you should make a situation that your friend know you. For example, if your friend were having a difficult situation, you should try to help him/her so that your friend would know you without you introduce your self. Next, it deals with knowing what your friend likes. Someone will interst you if you understand what he/she wants. And the last, it comes from doing the same things that your friend does.It will increase your friendship if you are always together. I think there are so many things that you have to aware. It just the major things that you have to know. I hope you would have a new friendship.

A Very Multitalented Man

     In my class, I have many friends. One of them is Iandhika Sabda Alam Mashar. He is 20 years old. He is multitalented man that has some wonderful abilities. The first is the ability of speaking English. He can speak English, for he is studying at English department. The second is the ability of speaking Arabic. He had ever been in Islamic boarding school for almost six years, so he could speak Arabic well. The last is the ability of playing drum. It is a favorite activity which he always do it at the weekend. That's all about a very multitalented man. I hope he should focus on what he wants to be.

The last, but not the end

     I had the experience in the Writing 1. The experience will be greatly missed when I leave this subject. Besides that, there were some experience was annoying. From that experience, I had taken the wisdom. On This subject, the valuable experince was the writing product in the my blog. Why I said that.

     The first, honesty, before I joined in this subject, I didn't know how to make a blog. Now, I know it, although, I don't know how to change the background of my blog and add something special in my blog. Finally, I just put photos of my favorite band or singer in it.

     The second, actually, time was the main problem of creating my writing product, because we had to create 1 writing product in limited time. Actually, it was long, but we also had the other assignments and sometimes my feeling was not good to write, as the result I could not write it well.

     The third, the way to make my writing product well. Miss. 3, my beloved lecturer, always asked me or us to be meticulous and pay attention with 5 things, such as : Punctuation, Main idea, Supporting idea, Verb agreement, and Capital letter.

     That ordinary experience will be saved in my mind, and I will explain it when I have a child.Now, this writing is the last of my writing product in the Writing 1, yet this is not the end of my writing product in my life. I will increase my ability to writing in the Writing 2.

Adolf Hitler

     There are many famous person in this world.They could change this world , for they had intelligent , bravery and strength. Their life were very interesting because many incidents that we can take evaluation and good point. Besides that, there are many bad point from them , and it must be omitted from our life. One of the famous person is Adolf Hitler.

    Everyone had known him. He was leader of the Nazi party. He was born on April 20th 1889. He had ever dominated Germany. There were many incident that he had done. Besides that, he was very cruel. He killed his enemy cruelly. One of  his enemy was Grecian for they were more cruel than him. For that reason, he ejected them from Germany for he knew that they were very cruel.Then, in the second world war, he killed him self on April 30th 1945.

The princes who Exchanged (Putri yang Ditukar)

     The soap opera is one of the popular series movie / opera in Indonesia.Many soap operas have been produced by director, but there were only several soap operas that were accepted by people.Now,there is one soap opera that is popular in Indonesia.It is "Putri yang Ditukar".

     This soap opera tells about two children who were exchanged by someone .They exchanged to poor family and rich family.They had been exchanged for almost 20 years.Their names are Admira and Zaira.Admira is played by Nikita , and Zaira is played by Jasmine.There are many problems in this soap opera.

     Many problems that appear in this soap opera are very interesting.Besides that, the director included romantic and humor in this soap opera so that people can enjoy it.

    Maybe now, this soap opera is popular, but we do not know wheather it can survive a long in our hearts to watch it or not.

NIRWANA

     On this writing, I wanna tell about my band. The name of my band was Nirwana. It was taken from Nirvana's words. It was formed when I was in Senior High School. I do not know exactly when it was formed, but it was formed when I was in the second grade of my study. There were many advantages for playing music instrument.

     One of them was, I could be famous , for I had ever performed my performance in one of graduation party in my school.. Then , I also could increase my capability to play music instrument. The last , my juniors admired me for I had a talent.

     One thing that I will never forget, when I entered my school gate, in the top, in the second floor of my school, my juniors shouted my name "Ka Hagi... Ka Hagi". Wow !!! I was feeling like a artist in that time.

Typical Beverages of Bandung

     Bandung is one of the cities in Indonesia.It is located in West Java.It is usually called by Paris Van Java and "Kota Kembang".There are many special things in Bandung.One of them is beverages.

     The famous beverage in Bandung is Bajigur.It is a beverage which is made from boiled water with brown sugar and coconut milk.Many people add pandan leaves for fragrance.Beside that,many people aslo add kolang kaling.It is for an enhancement.

    Then,Bandrek is a beverage which is made from boiled water with brown sugar and ginger.It was warm and perfect drink when it was cold.There also use sand sugar in the batter.

     The last is Sekoteng.It is a beverage that is made from boiled water with sand sugar and ginger.It almost sames with Bandrek.The diffrences are Sekoteng do not use broen sugar, and it is added with piece of breads,roasted peanuts,and peice of kolang kaling.

     In fact,there are still many typical beverages of Bandung,but I just tell the famous beverages in Bandung.Would you like to try them?

The last note of 2010

     I had exceeded everythings in 2010.One of them was my study.I had many progresses and also weaknesses.One of my progresses,I could fix my score in the second semester.When I was in the first semester,I got C in the structure 1,but when I was in the second semester,I got A in structure 2.As the result,I could ascend my IP in the second semester.Then,I had many weaknesses,one of them ,I had not got a scholarship.That time,I was late to submit scholarship,so I could not compete to get scholarship.

     Further,for my love stories,All of them was complicated in 2010.I do not want to review about them,but there is one significant thing,loving someone not only for my girlfriend,but also for all,such as my father,my mother,my friends,and so on..

     For all conditions,I must be better than before.In the beginning of 2011,let's say Bismillah to everythings that we want to do.
